Mirabelle, a senior living community managed by The Arbor Company, has recently introduced state-of-the-art fitness equipment into their on-site wellness center. They’ve debuted Heyday Fitness, a groundbreaking fitness program powered by AI, designed specifically to help seniors enhance their functional strength. Mirabelle stands out as one of the pioneering senior living communities nationwide to unveil this innovative technology for resident use.
Heydey Fitness utilizes AI technology to generate personalized fitness plans tailored to each senior’s needs. This program autonomously configures training parameters such as recovery intervals, resistance levels, and repetitions based on the individual’s fitness profile. Seniors can now safely and effectively improve their strength and overall well-being with the assistance of this program.
In collaboration with Mirabelle, Heydey Fitness conducted a pilot program involving 20 seniors from the community. This trial period allowed designers to gather valuable data and feedback from users, facilitating continuous refinement of the equipment to better meet their requirements. Despite the program’s design for independent use, Mirabelle provides a certified fitness instructor on-site to support residents as they utilize the equipment. Following the successful pilot at Mirabelle, Heydey Fitness is now being implemented in other Arbor communities.
This program caters perfectly to seniors, addressing crucial aspects such as fall prevention, bone density improvement, and cognitive decline risk reduction. Since its inception in late 2023, participants have already reported increased strength and have particularly appreciated the program’s adaptability and immediate positive feedback.
