(GA-ASI) is set to host its first Blue Magic event in the Netherlands on November 19, 2024. This event, Blue Magic Netherlands (BMN), will take place in Eindhoven, a renowned global technology hub. BMN aims to connect Dutch startups, universities, government officials, aerospace leaders, and representatives from high-tech industries, showcasing technological advancements within the Dutch ecosystem and linking qualified partners with funding opportunities to support next-generation dual-use solutions.
GA-ASI will be joined by partners Lockheed Martin Ventures, Brabant Development Agency (BOM), Netherlands Industries for Defence & Security (NIDV), and Brainport Development, an organization dedicated to regional economic strategy and the promotion of Brainport Eindhoven both domestically and internationally.
“We are excited to expand our successful Blue Magic concept, which fosters a collaborative environment for technology ideation, to the Netherlands,” said Brad Lunn, Managing Director-Strategic Finance at GA-ASI. “We look forward to welcoming thought leaders from the Dutch innovation ecosystem for a full day of technology exchange. Our aim is to provide a single platform for sharing ideas and implementation strategies that can influence the future of technology and defense systems, ultimately enhancing global safety.”

The first European Blue Magic event was held by GA-ASI in 2019, followed by events in 2020, 2021, and 2023. Since its inception, Blue Magic has facilitated collaborations with a diverse array of European and international businesses. The Blue Magic Netherlands event will feature technology pitches, a panel discussion, and a networking session where participants can explore potential collaborations with other high-tech businesses and leaders.

The focus areas for BMN 2024 will include artificial intelligence/machine learning, autonomy, advanced materials, sensors, advanced manufacturing, and space.
